If you are unfamiliar with Twitter

Twitter is an online social networking and microblogging service that enables its users to send and read text-based posts of up to 140 characters, known as "tweets".

You can 'Tweet' in a number of ways:

Panning for news-nuggets

Via the widely cast net of our 'intelligence network' we are subjected to a massive influx of news of various relevance to the subject matters in which we deal.

So how do we deal with it?

One may be excused for thinking that it is all about rebroadcasting as much as possible − and the more the better − and letting the reader cherry-pick what is interesting. - Not so!

WE, the editors, do the sorting and pick what is relevant

We do the picking, not the readers, and we have to be very selective.

How to post articles on our website

Part 1 - Preparing texts and images + content curation

Before we can upload anything we need to find, assess and edit/write a post and find images, graphics and/or videos to go with it.

Either we outright author the article ourselves. Or we write up a post based on other sources -  as is mostly the case when we report on news; In doing so we apply a process which is widely known as content curation.
