As earlier informed today by Amer Sports Corporation, Mikko Moilanen, M.Sc EE, (45 years) has been named President of Suunto Oy starting on March 17, 2010.

At the same time, Juha Pinomaa, the present President of Suunto Oy, will resign from the company at his own request.

Prior to taking over of the President responsibilities Mikko Moilanen has been working in Suunto Oy as Director, Products and Services since January 1, 2010.

Previously Moilanen has served at Nokia and held several international leadership positions for 17 years. He has a wide experience from product and portfolio management and creation of high quality products and services.

Following the nomination Mikko Moilanen will also be a member of the Amer Sports Executive Board, where he represents the Sports Instruments business area.
