Worldwide Dive and Sail, the owners of the Siren Fleet and Master Liveaboards, are now also the proud new owners of The Junk.

S/Y June Hong Chian Lee or The Junk, as she is known, is a restored teak wood Chinese merchant sailing vessel, that offers a unique liveaboard diving experience in Thailand. Already with an experienced crew and great food served on board, The Junk is the most charming and distinctive vessel in Thailand. So distinctive in fact that she has been used for several famous movies!

The Junk now joins Siren Fleet and Master Liveaboards, under the WWDAS umbrella, with each brand presenting different features, services and prices. The Junk joins the team to offer great value for money liveaboard diving in Thailand.

“Thailand is a great destination for any kind of divers and it will be a pleasure to introduce our guests to it on board such a charming and historic boat!” says company GM, Mark Shandur.

The Junk is a 33m sailing boat with three masts that can take up to 18 divers in 6 air conditioned cabins, offering a choice of double cabins, triple cabins and quads. All of them with their own private bathrooms with hot showers.

Before cruising again around Thai waters, the Worldwide Dive and Sail team are carrying out renovations to the boat in order to improve our guests’ experience.

She has already started operations offering 6 night trips around The Similan and Surin islands. The Marine National Parks of the Similan Islands and the extensive reefs in the Surin Islands are without a doubt the best diving in Thailand.

Over 200 species of hard corals spread between walls and coral gardens where turtles, Napoleons, bumphead parrot fish, barracudas, mantas rays and all kinds of tropical fish patrol. All this as well as one of the best dive sites in the world, Richelieu Rock, and the chance to see the majestic whale sharks!
