Ministry of Tourism of The Republic of Indonesia Active Participation at DEMA Show, November 4-7, 2015 in Orlando, Florida, USA.

```The Indonesian Tourism sector especially marine tourism is one of immense potential. It is also special area that has become a global trend. Diving spots are spread all over the world’s biggest archipelago, from Weh island in the western part of the country to the eastern part the well known Raja Ampat. Between the two spots there are Banda Island, Bunaken, Kapoposang, Wakatobi, Lembeh Strait, Alor Island, Togean, Gili Air, Komodo Island and Cendrawasih Bay possess diving spots with underwater marine lives

Indonesia consist of more than 13,466 islands big and small, 13 procent of it lands and 6 procents waters, second after Brazil in term marine lives biodiversity.

Data from the Ministry of Tourism the biggest visitors arrivals in 2015, 51.34% from China, 42.50% from America, 61.07% from Europe, 49.45% from Australia, 19.30% from Middle East and 35% from Japan, with biggest activities related to beach activities including diving.

The main aim of the Tourism Ministry’s participation at DEMA Show 2015 is to create business interaction between Indonesia’s travel industry with its counterparts attending the show. It is hoped, with participation of 14 Indonesia sellers would give result of profitable business deal through diving packages sold to American buyers.

By participating at such tourism event like DEMA Show would increase the number of visitor arrivals from USA with targeted number of 248.000 and 10 million visitor arrivals from other foreign countries including the targeted number from the USA. The Ministry data show that visitors from the USA prefer Bali, Java and West Nusa Tenggara as their destination.
