German WW2 u-boat located off Norway
During deep-water tests the Norwegian Navy stumbled across the wreck of the German submarine U-1053 in the fjord outside the city of Bergen, Norway. The submarine sank in February 1945 but its exact location has been unknown until now.

We located the submarine by coincidence the Navy's press officer Per Rostand told the local newsmedia ABC Nyheter

The location of the sunken submarine which rests at a depth of 300 meters has not been disclosed citing considerations for the seamen who perished and concerns for munitions aboard.
It is now a matter for 'Kystverket' (The Coastal administration - ed ) to decide what is going to happen with the remains of U-1053, which was a type VII C class submarine built by Krupp.
The wreck is also estimated to contain between 50 and 130 tonnes of dieselfuel
