			&lt;p&gt;Canon has announced the release of three new lenses. The first, the EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM is unlikely to be of interest for underwater use, however the other two lenses may have underwater applications. They are the EF 24mm f/2.8 IS USM and EF 28mm f/2.8 IS USM prime rectilinear wide-angle lenses. He had just turned 60 years old at the end of December, and leaves behind his wife and two children.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He was in Australia working on his next project.
